Cuckoo Broadband is a UK challenger brand aiming to disrupt traditional internet providers with simpler pricing, friendlier customer service, and flexible full-fibre broadband plans.
Cuckoo has always had a distinctive brand presence in the broadband category - from disruptive start-up to an evolved brand and design system.
But as the brand and business have evolved, their guidelines from this period no longer reflected who they’d become. While the ‘newer’ Cuckoo was clear in the work, the thinking behind it was rarely documented, meaning the business lacked a consistent reference point.

To solve this, I worked with the in-house creative team to refresh the guidelines and publish them on a public website – giving creatives a shared framework while opening up the brand's thinking for anyone to explore
