Thou Shalt Have A Dishy is a London-based pottery studio
THE BRIEF
After my discovery call with Hanna, TSHAD's founder, I came away with two requests; the branding should tell people it's a pottery business, and it needs to have a slug. I shared my initial mood board with Hanna and we worked together to choose a direction that matched the brief. 
THE SOLUTION
I worked closely with Hanna to first get the right tone of voice. Her studio makes beautiful handcrafted ceramics, but most importantly they are playful, experimental and never boring. This paved the way to design a slug with wonky eyes, a confident black outline and a speech bubble. Much like her pottery, the slug will be decorated by a rotating library of glazes from her studio, making the brand feel memorable, but never static.
The slug and wordmark can be used together or in isolation depending on the intended usage.
