An image of a watermelon slice eaten down to the rind to symbolise the famine in gaza
Silence is complicity.

Over the past few months, I’ve been taking on personal projects that connect with causes I care deeply about.

My goal is to use my skillset to create positive change, whether that’s for animals, humans, the climate or politics.

It’s easy to be passionate, but the challenge comes in the sensitivity.

My intention is to use design for storytelling and awareness, while being mindful of the complexity of the issues.

This poster is part of that work, inspired by my desire to raise awareness and show solidarity with Palestine. My hope is that the visual metaphor of the eaten watermelon raises awareness of the recent famine status, in a considered and respectful way. Please let me know if I’ve missed the mark.
